ICL has two fully functional container depots located within the Rous Head Industrial Park in North Fremantle and in Bibra Lake, WA. With a combined area of over 20000sqm , the depot operation provides shipping container storage for both personal and commercial storage, empty storage for international shipping lines and leasing companies as well as a staging area for our shipping container transport division.
The ICL Container Parks can accept full containers, up to 32t in gross weight, in either 20’ or 40’ containers. With a storage capacity for up to 1000 full containers at any time, ICL can provide a storage solution to meet your needs.
Shipping containers are stepped, block stacked which is industry standard for the highest level of security and safety.
In addition to this, the ICL Sultan Way Container Park currently has 22 reefer points to accept any full or empty refrigerated containers that need to be stored on power.
Our container depots are fully secure with 24 hr, 7 day a week roaming security services. Our depot based within North Fremantle Rous Head Industrial Park is a federal customs area.
All repairs are conducted to IICL standards and any particular requirement of the shipping line. Spares are carried on site. Approved paints are used and paint schemes are adhered to.
The repair team has many years of experience in the repair and maintenance of shipping containers and related equipment. Our depot manager is a fully accredited IICL5 container surveyor and can provide quotes and certification upon request.
All damaged equipment is held in stacks adjacent to the workshop until estimates have been approved.
Estimates are normally sent via EDI, but if minimising turnaround times is required, they can be sent via fax. Estimates are currently sent to our clients on a daily basis, however twice daily transmissions can be accommodated.
Our 20’ container park is classified as a Quarantine Class 2.6 area, and has a specialized Quarantine cleaning facility as well as certified quarantine inspectors.
